POSITION OVERVIEW
The Treasury Management Supervisor leads the delivery and performance of the Bank’s treasury management services to support client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This role is responsible for managing treasury management operations, product implementation, deposits, and ongoing client support in alignment with business objectives.
The position provides leadership to treasury management staff and partners closely with relationship management, lending, branch operations, and operations teams to ensure effective coordination across treasury management sales, onboarding, and service delivery. The supervisor supports product adoption, consistent execution, and a high quality client experience.
The Treasury Management Supervisor is accountable for operational performance, service quality, and risk management within the treasury management function. This includes monitoring key performance indicators, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards. The role serves as a liaison with senior management regarding treasury management strategy, implementation effectiveness, deposit growth, and ongoing product support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Supervisory & Operational Management

  • Supervise and direct Treasury Management Associates to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Manage daily treasury management operations, including product implementation, onboarding, deposits, and ongoing product support.
  • Oversee the execution of treasury management and deposit products, including implementation activities, revenue related functions, and risk mitigation processes.
  • Manage implementation of treasury management products and services for new clients and for existing clients with complex or comprehensive needs.
  • Ensure accurate collection of treasury management and deposit related fees.
  • Support the development, documentation, and implementation of treasury management products, policies, and procedures; ensure staff adherence to all requirements.
  • Identify operational, process, or product enhancement opportunities and communicate recommendations to Leadership.
  • Establish team goals aligned with Bank strategy and monitor performance against established objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support treasury management initiatives, cross functional projects, and operational improvements.

Sales Support & Client Relationship Management

  • Supervise Treasury Management Associates in supporting Treasury Management Advisors with onboarding, documentation, new accounts, and electronic banking activities.
  • Partner with the Treasury Services & Business Banking Director, Relationship Managers, and Bankers to assess client and prospect needs related to payments, deposits, online banking, and fraud prevention.
  • Participate in independent and joint client and prospect calls to support sales efforts, identify opportunities, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Support achievement of treasury management sales targets through client needs assessment, solution recommendations, and ongoing relationship support.
  • Review client account structures, product usage, and cost considerations and provide recommendations aligned with client requirements.
  • Conduct proactive reviews of existing and prospective client relationships to ensure appropriate product utilization and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter resource on treasury management products, pricing structures, and operational considerations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure continuity of treasury management service delivery.
  • Provide input into product focused outreach or marketing initiatives as requested.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all treasury management activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, risk management standards, and audit expectations.
  • Ensure treasury management implementation and operational processes are executed in accordance with established risk controls and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support monitoring of operational and risk indicators and escalate issues in accordance with established procedures.
  • Complete all assigned compliance training and regulatory requirements within established timeframes.

  • This position is based in a non-confined office setting where the employee is free to move about as needed. This role is performed in a typical office environment. For hybrid and remote positions, work may also be performed away from BSB worksites, depending on business needs. Employees working remotely are required to maintain a dependable, high-speed internet connection and a work environment conducive to frequent phone and video calls, where private, confidential, or proprietary information cannot be seen, overheard, or otherwise accessed by unauthorized individuals.
  • This position requires writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting up to 10 pounds, driving (personal, company, or rental vehicle on occasion), carrying, sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and using close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in treasury management products and advisory sales within a financial services environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in treasury management operations, service, and/or product implementation functions.
  • Five (5) years of direct people management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience supervising or leading a treasury management, cash services, or similar operational team.
  • Experience supporting treasury management products and services, including payments, deposits, online banking, and fraud prevention.
  • Experience analyzing client account structures, product usage, and cost or fee components.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing client proposals or product presentations.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients, internal partners, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational and supervisory responsibilities and meet established deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and use of internet based business tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing treasury management product implementation for complex or multi service commercial clients.
  • Experience partnering with relationship management, lending, operations, compliance, and risk teams.
  • Knowledge of treasury management pricing structures, revenue models, and fee administration.
  • Experience supporting treasury management sales initiatives and revenue growth strategies.
  • Experience monitoring operational performance metrics, service quality indicators, or risk controls.
  • Knowledge of banking industry market dynamics and competitive treasury management practices.
  • Experience participating in product development, process improvement, or cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance and audit activities related to treasury management services.

COMPENSATION
The posted pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role but may include ranges from the different geographies where this position may be based. New employees' starting pay is usually from the start of the range to approximately 25% of the max, more qualified and/or experienced employees may start near the middle of the range for their geography. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.

Compensation for our organization is based on factors that include the role, required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies, and candidates’ relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Our pay ranges are based on national living wage indexes, such as MIT's living wage index, to enable us to pay our employees beyond what are standard practices for many employers, and also take into account geographically-specific recent compensation market survey data for each position.
