Refund Policy

We want you to be completely happy with Careeronaut. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it right.
7-Day Refund Window
If your first payment was made within the last 7 days and you have not used the software to export a resume (PDF, DOCX, or TXT), you are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.
This applies to your first payment only, whether that's a trial fee, a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase.
What Is Not Eligible
- Subscription renewals. Refunds only apply to your first payment. If your subscription has renewed, the renewal charge is not eligible for a refund. You can cancel at any time to prevent future renewals.
- Exported resumes. If you have downloaded a resume in any format (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) during the refund window, the refund is no longer available, as you have received the core value of the product.
- Trial fees. The trial fee (e.g., $0.99) is non-refundable. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged the monthly subscription fee, but the trial fee itself is not refunded.
- Missed cancellations. If your trial converts to a paid subscription because you did not cancel in time, this is not grounds for a refund. We send you an email reminder before the trial ends.
How to Request a Refund
Contact us through our support page within 7 days of your first payment. Include the email address associated with your account and a brief reason for the refund.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24 hours. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- You keep access to all Explorer features until the end of your current billing period.
- After that, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your resumes are not deleted.
- No cancellation fees apply.
Exceptions
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the software (e.g., the editor won't load, exports are broken), contact us and we'll either fix the issue or issue a refund regardless of the 7-day window.
