Help Clients Access Global Markets
U.S. Bank is expanding its global footprint, and we're looking for a Global Network - Market Registration Consultant to play a critical role in helping clients navigate international market access. In this highly visible position, you'll work across global financial markets, coordinating market registrations, account openings, onboarding activities, and regulatory requirements that enable clients to invest and operate around the world.
The Global Network Management team manages strategic relationships with subcustodians, correspondent banks, depositaries, cash providers, and market infrastructure providers across nearly 100 global markets. The team serves as a key partner to Global Custody, Fund Services, Payments, Digital Assets, and other business lines supporting U.S. Bank's global growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary consultant and subject matter expert for assigned international markets, providing guidance to clients, business lines, and internal stakeholders on foreign investor registration, market access, account opening requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Advise clients and partners on market-entry strategies, investment eligibility, account structures, registration requirements, local market practices, licensing requirements, and documentation standards.
- Develop and maintain expertise in assigned markets, including regulatory developments, market reforms, settlement frameworks, investor identification requirements, beneficial ownership disclosures, and operational considerations.
- Collaborate with clients, sub-custodians, market infrastructures, exchanges, CSDs, and regulatory bodies to facilitate and drive complex market-entry and onboarding projects across global markets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders during onboarding discussions, due diligence reviews, RFP responses, and sales engagements, providing guidance on global custody solutions and market access considerations.
- Lead and support client conversions, market-entry initiatives, and strategic consulting engagements, ensuring seamless transitions and effective navigation of local market requirements and operational complexities.
- Provide proactive market intelligence and updates on regulatory changes, emerging market developments, and industry trends that may impact clients, business lines, or account structures.
- Collaborate with operations, compliance, legal, tax, risk, technology, product, and business line partners to develop and implement solutions that support efficient and compliant access to global markets.
- Lead discussions and manage escalations related to market registration challenges, documentation requirements, regulatory reviews, and market-specific issues.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance market profiles, registration guides, client-facing materials, and internal knowledge resources to support informed decision-making and consistent service delivery.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, accelerate onboarding timelines, increase transparency, and improve the overall client experience.
- Promote knowledge sharing and industry best practices by delivering training, educational sessions, and market updates to internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
- Support strategic projects, industry initiatives, and business growth opportunities related to international market access, custody services, and regulatory change.
- Prepare and deliver management reporting on workload, service performance, regulatory developments, key risks, and strategic initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of experience in the financial services industry
- At least two years of experience in global custody and/or global Broker/Dealer and/or global network management
- Ability to travel

- Strong technical and computer navigation skills, with experience leveraging Microsoft Office applications and various software platforms to improve productivity, streamline processes, and support operational objectives.
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $110,700.00 - 135,300.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
