Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Management Specialist to join the Technology Risk and Control Management function supporting Technology Controls Modernization and Measurement.
This role will support the modernization of technology risk and control management practices through data-driven analysis, visualization, automation and reporting. The individual will contribute to the development of modern control monitoring capabilities, including dashboards, metrics, key risk indicators (KRIs) and data-driven risk insights that enhance the identification, assessment, and monitoring of technology risks.
This role will also assist in the design and implementation of repeatable processes that improve control transparency, reporting effectiveness and management decision-making, building upon the organization's broader focus on data-driven control monitoring and risk reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Support Technology Controls Modernization initiatives through data analysis, reporting and visualization activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions that provide insights into technology risks, controls, issues, and key performance indicators.
- Assist in designing and implementing risk monitoring and control measurement processes using data-driven methodologies.
- Analyze risk and control data to identify trends, emerging risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform data collection, validation, reconciliation and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.
- Translate complex risk and control data into meaningful visualizations and presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with technology teams, control managers and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, data sources and visualization techniques that can improve control management effectiveness.
- Participate in control-related projects and initiatives while building subject matter expertise in Technology Risk and Control Management.
- Create documentation, reporting procedures and analytical methodologies to support sustainable and repeatable control management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Technology / Cybersecurity Risk Management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques including trend analysis, KPI/KRI development, and performance measurement.
- Demonstrated curiosity, continuous learning mindset and interest in emerging technologies including data analytics and Generative AI.
- Ability to leverage Generative AI to provide efficiencies in processes / analysis with guardrails.
- Basic to intermediate experience with SQL, Python, Power Query, or other analytical tools used to transform and analyze data.
- Understanding of technology risk management, operational risk management, controls, or audit practices.
- Exposure to technology governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
- Experience performing data reconciliation, data quality analysis and validation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate insights through effective visual storytelling and executive-ready presentations.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of automation concepts and modern control monitoring practices.
- Knowledge of banking, financial services, or regulatory environments.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$60,000.00 - $91,000.00Benefits
