Duties
Manages strategic planning for the section, conducts needs assessments for state offices, and manages the implementation of requirements to meet identified needs. Leads procurement actions related to department priorities and acts as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for department contracts. Manages the state office guard service program and the relationship with the Federal Protective Service (FPS) and related agencies. Manages a team of senior professionals responsible for the state office emergency supply and equipment program, the development and delivery of emergency preparedness and security training for state staff, and department publications including the intranet (Webster) site, newsletters, and other emergency and preparedness bulletins. Acts as a SME and provides expert advice and assistance to Senate state offices on issues of security and emergency preparedness, as well as other related matters. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and evaluation

Education
Associate's Degree.
