The Manager, Data Analytics leads a team of data professionals, including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers, driving the development and execution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics strategies that support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. This role oversees critical data projects, fosters cross-functional and vendor partnerships, and ensures effective management of data warehouses, data lakes, and governance standards. By leveraging advanced analytical tools and techniques, the Manager transforms complex and diverse data sources into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and delivering measurable business impact.

 

Up to 25% travel, including domestic and international

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

 

What You’ll Work On

• Lead and develop a team of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and related professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Oversee day-to-day team operations, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure timely and effective delivery of analytics solutions.
• Support the development and implementation of data analytics strategies and digital transformation initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Partner with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to identify opportunities, drive adoption of data-driven solutions, and deliver business value.
• Manage the planning and execution of business data projects, including project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
• Serve as a key analytics partner to stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations that support decision-making.
• Apply and uphold data governance standards, supporting data quality, integrity, security, and effective management of enterprise data assets.
• Leverage AI, analytical tools, automation, statistical methods, and emerging technologies to generate actionable insights and improve business processes.
• Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and ongoing learning within the analytics function and broader organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in AI, data analytics, business intelligence, data science, data engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI-driven data analysis, data visualization, data modeling, and data management best practices.
• Proficiency with analytical methods, statistical techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of data architectures, data flows, data governance, and emerging data technologies and capabilities.
• Experience translating complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Proven project management experience, including planning, prioritization, and successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.
• Relevant certifications in analytics, data management, cloud technologies, or project management are a plus.

The base pay for this position is

$114,000.00 – $228,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
