Duties
Plans, coordinates, and executes administrative and business operations supporting the academic mission, including scheduling, correspondence, staff actions, and long-range administrative requirements. Coordinates CONUS/OCONUS travel and uses the Defense Travel System (DTS) to prepare travel orders, reservations, itineraries, and travel claims/vouchers in accordance with applicable regulations. Administers records management requirements for assigned organizations, including paper/electronic files, vital records, declassification and document security reviews, annual updates, and archives. Coordinates civilian personnel actions, in/out-processing, evaluations, JTD actions, and civilian time and attendance; prepares and tracks actions for leadership review and approval. Supports special events, distinguished visitors, and guest speakers; assists with supply requisitions/orders and maintains Property Book records for assigned equipment in accordance with University directives.

Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: For the GS-9: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply. Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. Military Spouse Preference (MSP) Eligible: Military Spouse Preference applicants, must be placed at the highest grade level for which they have applied and been determined best qualified up to and including the full performance level. You must include a completed copy of the Military Spouse PPP Self-Certification Checklist dated within 30 days along with the documents identified on the checklist to verify your eligibility.
