The Supervisor partners closely with Program Account Management, Customer Service, Inventory, Order Processing, and Operations leadership to ensure customer commitments and service-level expectations are met.
This position balances floor leadership with team development and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will coach employees, remove operational barriers, respond quickly to changing priorities, and help drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
· Lead daily Program fulfillment operations, including order prioritization, picking, auditing, packing, kitting, and shipping activities.
· Prioritize and manage order queues based on requested ship dates, customer commitments, freight requirements, and operational urgency.
· Assign work to Fulfillment Coordinators and Team Leads based on workload, staffing levels, skill, and business priorities.
· Coordinate rush, expedited, and special-handling orders to ensure service-level commitments are met.
· Reassign personnel and adjust workflow as volume, staffing, or customer requirements change.
· Monitor fulfillment activities throughout the day and address barriers affecting productivity, quality, or on-time shipment performance.
· Support operators in resolving misplaced inventory, inventory-location discrepancies, shortages, damages, and other inventory exceptions.
· Assist with fulfillment-related issues, including bad addresses, item accuracy discrepancies, freight-term questions, unit-of-measure concerns, product color accuracy, and product quality issues.
· Provide visible, active leadership on the warehouse floor and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and respect.
· Communicate daily priorities, expectations, process changes, and performance feedback to team members.
· Coach, train, and develop employees to improve productivity, quality, safety, and engagement.
· Monitor employee performance and behavior; document and escalate concerns in accordance with company practices.
· Partner with Team Leads to maintain consistent execution across work areas and shifts.
· Monitor order accuracy and support quality audits to ensure compliance with fulfillment procedures and customer requirements.
· Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, housekeeping, and adherence to safety standards.
· Enforce warehouse safety procedures, equipment requirements, inspection practices, and applicable company policies.
· Monitor program communications and customer-related correspondence throughout the day, ensuring timely responses to requests and operational concerns.
· Serve as a key liaison between Fulfillment, Program Account Management, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Order Processing, and other internal teams.
· Communicate daily operational progress, staffing needs, risks, metrics, and end-of-shift updates to leadership and stakeholders.
· Review operational metrics and use trends to identify root causes, process improvements, and opportunities to strengthen efficiency.
· Support attendance, scheduling, timekeeping, staffing, and other team administration processes as needed.
· Participate in daily huddles, operational meetings, training activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
· Three or more years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, distribution, or a related environment.
· Prior experience leading employees in a fast-paced operational setting.
· Working knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping processes, and warehouse safety practices.
· Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to balance competing priorities and make timely decisions in a deadline-driven environment.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to coach employees, provide feedback, and hold teams accountable.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel; experience with warehouse management, order management, reporting Tableau, or Snowflake is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy, quality, and customer service.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
· Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
· Ability to work in a warehouse and fulfillment-center environment, including standing and walking for extended periods and safely navigating the warehouse floor.
· Schedule flexibility, including early, late, weekend, or overtime hours, based on business needs and assigned shift coverage.
· Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
