Join a team dedicated to getting customer orders ready for shipment to our clients all over the world. We offer a different kind of distribution center experience! This is an on-site Fulfillment position in our Sterling, IL fulfillment center, specifically focus on receiving & inventory management of HALOโ€™s products. This opening is for 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.


Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Inventory Management:

  • Sort and stock items into designated locations in the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and organized for easy access.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

Receiving and Inspection:

  • Receive shipments, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damages.
  • Verify the contents of each shipment against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Accurately record all received items in the inventory management system.

Administrative:

  • Answer questions regarding inventory, shipping, freight and supplies.
  • Check and respond to company emails.
  • Work on fulfillment and kitting projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Team Lead and/or Supervisor.


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of receiving experience, previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook preferred, Smartsheet experience strongly preferred
  • Motivated by deadline-oriented work environment
  • Able to work overtime when required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Pushing and pulling up to 200 pounds with assistance of rolling carts


Compensation: The pay rate for this role is $17.00 per hour. Please note that this pay serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
