About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security Range, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Clarksville, Tennessee about 45 miles northwest of Nashville.

Duties

Serve as the Range Supply Management Officer and Direct Supervisor for the Range Operations Support section. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term and long-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work. Monitor and track expenditures of allocated funds, Operations and Maintenance Appropriations (OMA) and Other Procurement, Army (OPA) for the organization. Approve all purchases and reviews orders for accuracy and completeness. Oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and services by providing advice and assistance in resolving supply support problems.

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Career Program (CP) 13 - Supply Management position. You may claim military spouse preference (MSP). If a MSP applicant is determined best qualified and selected, placement must be at the full performance level for priority consideration. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Permanent change of station (PCS) cost MAY be authorized. Recruitment and relocation incentives MAY be authorized. Student loan repayment MAY be authorized. Salary negotiations for those candidates who are new to Federal service MAY be authorized. Credit for Prior Non-Federal work experience and certain military service for determining Annual Leave Accrual Rate MAY be authorized. Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 6 years. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
