About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product to play a key role within the Merchant Services User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function, partnering closely with Product, Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure solutions are thoroughly validated and ready for production.  

This role will help drive the end-to-end UAT lifecycle, from early requirements and test planning through execution, defect management, readiness assessment and postproduction validation. This individual will translate complex business requirements and customer journeys into comprehensive teste scenarios that validate functionality, end to end experience and business outcomes.  establishes the operating frameworks, reporting, and governance disciplines that enable informed decision-making, execution excellence, and business growth across the Merchant Services Product organization.

This role will also contribute to the continued maturation of the UAT operating model by establishing consistent testing practices, governance, reporting, traceability and quality standards across initiatives. Success requires strong critical thinking, attention to detail, cross functional leadership, and the ability to identify risks and gaps before solutions reach customers or production.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate high-level business requirements into testable conditions and acceptance criteria, ensuring solutions meet business and user needs.
  • Perform end-to-end platform integrations, with the ability to identify, document, and validate positive, negative, and edge-case testing scenarios.
  • Develop, document, and execute end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, validating functionality, integrations, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with business, technology, and enterprise stakeholders to resolve complex issues, remove delivery obstacles, and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Drive UAT readiness by evaluating requirements, test coverage, environments, data, access, dependencies and entry/exit criteria prior to test execution.
  • Identify, document, communicate, and escalate defects, risks, and gaps that could impact customer experience, business outcomes, or production readiness.
  • Provide clear UAT status reporting, including test execution process, defect trends, risks, blockers and readiness assessments to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support production readiness and postproduction validation to confirm expected functionality and business outcomes following implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and continue improvement of UAT standards, governance, processes, tools and testing practices across the organization.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including backlog management, requirements gathering, prioritization, and execution of new and in-flight work.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and executing end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, validating functionality, integrations, and business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end platform integrations, with the ability to identify, document, and validate positive, negative, and edge-case testing scenarios.
  • Knowledge of Merchant Services and payments, including an understanding of products, platforms, operational processes, and client needs.
  • Experience writing user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Review and accept completed user stories, ensuring deliverables meet established acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess customer, operational, process, and technology impacts.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify risks, dependencies, roadblocks, and production issues, and develop effective recommendations and mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated success influencing and collaborating across business, product, technology, and leadership teams at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to translate complex business, operational, and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights that support sound decision-making.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills, including the ability to present findings, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
