This is a Technical Product Management position at the Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialized cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization’s systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to work within our Product team, supporting our Cloud & Platform Security teams.

Our Product team ensures we deliver meaningful security outcomes and partner successfully across the Morgan Stanley Enterprise Technology organizations.

This role requires an outgoing individual who can collaborate with empathy and communicate with clarity across a matrixed organization of technical staff, risk professionals, and senior leaders. The role reports to the Head of Product for Cloud & Platform Security and Developer Enablement.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Lead customer and stakeholder discovery and partnership.

  • Drive the management, socialization, and evolution of the product roadmap.

  • Enable the engineering team to work in an agile manner, with clear direction and feedback on priorities and deliverables.

  • Ensure the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap through collaboration across teams, including the identification and communication of dependencies and risks.

  • Ensure the individual product strategy is aligned and integrated within our wider organizational strategy.

  • Understand the industry and market your product is in, and apply that knowledge to customer interactions and the product roadmap.

  • Build and maintain customer community and engagement for the product.

  • Champion the team's customer successes.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in Product Management.

  • A technical background that enables probing conversations with customers and discussions with the product engineering team.

  • Ability to measure and report on product performance, using data to inform future product decisions and improvements.

  • Experience working within a modern software engineering environment and the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience in building and managing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience in delivering outcomes in matrix organizations and influencing partners and stakeholders.

  • Ability to facilitate collaboration across technical and non-technical teams and roles.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in delivering within an agile development environment.

  • Experience delivering products, solutions, or services in public/private cloud environments.

  • Experience turning a vision into clear, tangible building blocks of a roadmap and having a clear definition of done.

  • You are self-driven, deal well with ambiguity, and can pave the way for things that have never been done before.

Desired:

  • Experience with Workload and Platform Security.

  • Experience with Kubernetes as a technology and platform.

  • Experience with data platforms.

  • Experience working in large, complex organizations within a highly regulated industry.

  • Experience delivering products, solutions, or services within the developer ecosystem.

  • Experience leveraging AI within your products.
