Job Description
The Sales Support & Training Strategy Manager is an individual-contributor program manager within the Client Solutions Resources & Training team, with balanced responsibility for coordinating sales support and developing training strategy across Treasury and Payment Solutions. On the sales support side, the role equips sales teams with product expertise, compelling demonstrations, and practical tools that strengthen opportunities. On the training strategy side, the role assesses learning needs, recommends priorities, and implements scalable education approaches that build knowledge, readiness, and consistent execution across sales and client-facing teams.
Success is measured equally through the effectiveness of sales support and the impact of training strategy. Key indicators include seller readiness, demonstration quality, stakeholder satisfaction, learning adoption, knowledge retention, resource utilization, and contribution to stronger sales execution and client outcomes. The position has no direct reports and does not own a sales quota or product roadmap; it delivers results through subject matter expertise, program coordination, cross-functional influence, demonstrations, training solutions, and quantifiable client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, consultative professional who combines sales support experience with training strategy, instructional design, presentation, facilitation, project coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities. This individual can simplify complex product capabilities, assess learning needs, tailor demonstrations and training solutions, manage work across multiple partners, and influence outcomes in a complex financial services or technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support Strategy & Execution
- Coordinate and continuously improve sales support practices for Treasury and Payment Solutions, aligning resources, processes, and engagement approaches with sales priorities and opportunity needs.
- Partner with sales professionals to clarify opportunity context, define engagement goals, prepare product positioning, and anticipate questions or objections.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly connect capabilities to prospect objectives and desired business outcomes.
- Provide product expertise, consultative guidance, and presentation support throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain repeatable demonstration standards, discovery practices, presentation assets, and seller-readiness tools that improve consistency, quality, and scalability.
Training Strategy & Learning Solutions
- Develop and maintain a training strategy for Treasury and Payment Solutions that aligns learning priorities, curricula, resources, and delivery approaches with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Deliver engaging training through instructor-led sessions, live and recorded webinars, virtual learning environments, and other appropriate venues based on audience needs, content, and business objectives.
- Translate business and learner needs into structured learning journeys, curricula, role-based development plans, and targeted training solutions.
- Apply adult-learning and instructional-design principles to create effective instructor-led, virtual, self-directed, and blended learning experiences.
- Coordinate governance, prioritization, maintenance, and evaluation practices that keep training accurate, relevant, scalable, and aligned with changing products and business priorities.
Enablement, Learning Content & Product Expertise
- Create and maintain demonstration scripts, learning modules, facilitator guides, participant materials, product guides, job aids, assessments, and reinforcement resources.
- Coach sales and client-facing teams to conduct effective discovery, position solutions clearly, and apply product knowledge with confidence.
- Maintain deep working knowledge of Treasury and Payment Solutions products, including SinglePoint capabilities, client workflows, competitive positioning, adoption needs, and implementation considerations.
- Partner with Product teams on updates, launches, training-readiness activities, and modernization of demonstration and learning resources.
- Ensure sales enablement and training materials remain accurate, accessible, compliant, audience-centered, and aligned with approved positioning and instructional standards.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships across Sales, Product, Treasury Management, Operations, Implementation, Client Support, Marketing, and other client-facing teams.
- Work with subject matter experts to maintain accurate product knowledge and convert technical information into practical sales guidance and effective learning experiences.
- Coach and support colleagues who contribute to sales enablement, product demonstrations, instructional design, facilitation, or training delivery, without direct supervisory responsibility.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish balanced measures for sales support effectiveness and training impact, including seller readiness, demonstration quality, stakeholder satisfaction, participation, learning adoption, knowledge retention, resource utilization, and performance improvement.
- Use sales partner feedback, learner feedback, assessment results, utilization data, and business outcomes to refine strategy, content, and delivery practices.
- Identify patterns across sales opportunities and learning needs and recommend improvements to product positioning, enablement resources, curricula, demonstrations, and cross-functional processes.
- Scale sales support and training practices while maintaining accuracy, consistency, responsiveness, instructional quality, and a strong learner experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience

- Demonstrated experience supporting sales opportunities and developing product, role-based, or departmental training strategies.
- Ability to conduct effective discovery and learning needs assessments and translate findings into tailored demonstrations, curricula, and training solutions.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, storytelling, instructional design, project management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and credibly.
- Ability to independently manage multiple opportunities, training initiatives, deliverables, and priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
