Summary
The Air Force offers qualified applicants opportunities to be hired for certain occupations covered by Direct Hire Authorities (DHA). Duties

Provides expert legal advice and counsel to commanders and staff on laws and regulations associated with ethics and standards of conduct, administrative law, claims, general civil law and Magistrate Court issues. Provides written and oral opinions on complex questions relating to ethics and standards of conduct, and other civil law matters arising at the installation or any of the geographically separated units. Provides assistance and advice to lesser experienced civilian and military attorneys on all facets of ethics, standards of conduct, and other civil law matters. Assists Chief in preparation and presentation of ethics and standards of conduct training courses, as well as other civil law matters. Serves as lead attorney on complicated ethics, standards of conduct, and other civil law problems, as assigned, whenever they may arise, including but not limited to claims filed with the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, appeals there from, and any other civil-law related litigation and investigation.
