About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support our Finance Treasury Transformation Office team with specific focus on Liquidity regulatory reporting initiative delivery. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role you will lead the governance, prioritization, and execution of complex Treasury Transformation initiatives with significant leadership visibility and regulatory impact. You will be accountable for driving delivery across multiple workstreams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic liquidity management capabilities. The role will connect Treasury subject-matter expertise with product management, technology delivery, data governance, and regulatory reporting to implement scalable capabilities, strengthen controls, and improve decision-making. 


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from initial concept and requirements through solution design, testing, implementation, production validation, and benefit realization. 

  • Partner with business, technology, operations, risk, control, and data teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions. 

  • Direct product backlog management, release planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams. 

  • Provide leadership-level transparency on delivery status, risks, decisions, capacity constraints, and interdependencies; drive timely escalation and resolution. 

  • Drive remediation of complex data and reporting issues through root-cause analysis, sustainable solution design, and coordinated upstream and downstream execution. 

  • Champion modernization, automation, process standardization, and retirement of manual or legacy solutions. 

  • Lead governance routines, executive forums, and decision-making processes to ensure effective project oversight and delivery execution. 

  • Influence senior stakeholders, guide less-experienced team members, and promote disciplined change-management practices. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Treasury, Finance transformation, product management, business execution, data management, regulatory reporting, technology delivery, or related discipline. 

  • Demonstrated leadership of large, complex, cross-functional programs within a large financial institution or comparable regulated environment. 

  • Advanced stakeholder management, executive communication, decision facilitation, issue resolution, and organizational influence skills. 

  • Deep knowledge of Treasury liquidity management and regulatory reporting, including FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, liquidity stress testing, or related reporting frameworks. 

  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery, backlog management, release governance, software development lifecycle controls, user acceptance testing, and production validation. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience synthesizing complex business and technical concepts into clear, concise executive-level communications.

  • Strong experience translating business and regulatory needs into technology and data solutions, including requirements, testing, implementation, and production validation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.

  • Experience leading Treasury data sourcing, application modernization, data remediation, transformation-logic governance, or reporting automation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, root-cause investigation, risk identification, and sustainable remediation planning.  

  • Ability to assess complex data flows and collaborate with technical teams using SQL, analytics tools, or comparable technologies. 

  • Experience operating effectively under executive, audit, regulatory, and risk-management scrutiny.
