The Perioperative Support Assistant will assist with patient care and Help transport patients. You will assist with transport/assist in discharging patients. Also assist providers and other personnel as needed.
Schedule:
32 hours/week across 4 days (Monday–Friday). Specific working days vary weekly.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
- Clinical Support: Support providers and other clinical personnel during the transition of patients during the surgical process and dally operations.
- Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean, tidy, and properly stocked work area, including assisting with operating room (OR) turnover and cleaning/restocking supplies.
- Quality & Safety: Participate in quality assessment and performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and safety
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AWESOME:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, providers, and other staff
- Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assist providers and other clinical personnel in coordinating patient care efficiently

- A collaborative mindset with a focus on help delivering exceptional patient care

WHAT YOU KNOW:
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS Certification
