Duties
This position is located with the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to direct the development, coordination, and implementation of procedural changes; to direct the performance of management/program analysis for the logistic activities under the jurisdiction of the USPFO; and to direct acquisition, accountability, incoming, outgoing and formal transfer of logistic asset for the USPFO in support of the Federal and state mission. Position is responsible for the management, direction, and supervision of employees. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
Qualifications and evaluation

Ability to develop goals and objectives that integrate organizational, logistics, supply, transportation and inventory management. 2. Knowledge and ability to provide advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters. 3. Ability to draft policies, concepts, and procedures to ensure that an effective operation is maintained using personnel, equipment, and funding to support the mission. 4. Ability to monitor the status and effectiveness of material support by identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems within state logistical operations. 5. Ability to identify developmental and training needs of subordinates and provide and/or arrange for needed training development.
