Linen Aide - Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

General Information:

Job title: Linen Aide

Location: Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - New Lisbon, WI

Schedule: Part-time 1, 52.5 hours per pay period; scheduled 4 shifts from 4:30am-1pm, and 5 shifts 7am-11am

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend rotation; typically 5:30am - 2:00pm

Holiday rotation: Every other holiday rotation

Position Summary:

The Linen Aide position cleans and sanitizes all linen that the residents come in contact with to ensure infection control.

Position Responsibilities:

• Sort and pick up all dirty linen from all wings.
• Wash and dry all linens according to set temps. Fold and deliver all linens to individual wings.
• Keep linen closets stocked and organized. Let supervisor know when new items need reordered.
• Deliver personal clothing to residents. Make sure residents' closets are organized so staff can find clothing easy.
• Clean work area daily. Fill soaps, clean dryers of lint, and disinfect work area.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with patients, co-workers, and supervisors is essential.
