THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT MODIFICATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Perform Organizational and Intermediate, level maintenance on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station

DUTIES

  • Perform ACM II Avionics duties
  • Support O/I/D-Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting and the removal and replacement of aeronautical components.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (4) years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Minimum of four (2) years of T/M/S maintenance experience
  • CDI qualification or ability to obtain qualification required within 6 months of employment
  • Familiar with all publications relevant to the maintenance of the MV-22 appropriate to the assignment and have a thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of the equipment/systems.
  • Possess a thorough understanding or become familiar and proficient with NALCOMIS OOMA automated maintenance documentation system within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from employment: Auxiliary Power Unit (APU); Blade Fold Wing Stow (BFWS); Brake Rider; Egress Certified
  • Qualified and/or certified in the following: A/M32A-108 Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP); NC-10 A/B/C Mobile Electric Power Plant (MEPP)
  • MATMEP Level III / T &R level 3000 (applicable systems) or greater for MV-22, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Preferred additional qualifications: Towing; A/M42-2A Light Cart; A/S32A-45 Tow Tractor; BT-400-46 Pre-Heater (or Equivalent); Flight Line Utility Vehicles.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, etc.
