This is a U.S. remote position. Team members work virtually and collaborate across functions, therapies, and business units using digital collaboration tools. No travel is required for this role.
The Senior Reimbursement Analyst, Operations supports reimbursement operations, resource development, and strategic initiatives that help improve patient access across assigned therapies. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify operational needs, develop reimbursement resources, support business initiatives, analyze performance data, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess reimbursement business needs, access barriers, resource gaps, and operational priorities across assigned therapies.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reimbursement tools, resources, communications, and operational materials for internal teams, healthcare providers, and patient access programs.
- Support reimbursement readiness activities for product launches, therapy expansions, program changes, integrations, and other business initiatives.
- Partner with patient access, reimbursement, and cross-functional stakeholders to create workflows, educational materials, and operational resources that support patient access.
- Translate complex reimbursement, coverage, and payment information into clear, actionable content for internal and external audiences.
- Manage reimbursement resources throughout their lifecycle, including development, review, approval, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.
- Analyze reimbursement operations data and reporting across patient access, prior authorization, payer coverage, and field support functions to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and scalability initiatives, including the use of approved artificial intelligence-enabled tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience OR Advanced degree with 2+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in reimbursement, market access, patient access, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, payer/provider operations, or related healthcare functions.
- Experience developing business resources, operational processes, communications, or educational materials.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience using business productivity, collaboration, reporting, or data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of U.S. reimbursement, coding, coverage, payment methodologies, and payer/provider operations.
- Experience supporting products or therapies across commercialization stages, including launch, market development, or lifecycle management.
- Experience analyzing complex data and translating technical information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence-enabled tools, automation technologies, or process improvement methodologies to improve business outcomes.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
