Duties
Systems Administrator Information Services Division Salary: $99,995 - $102,423 This is a non-supervisory position. Job Summary: This job is with the Information Services Division, Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA), U.S. House of Representatives (House). The Information Services division supports the mission of the SAA by procuring, deploying, maintaining and supporting all technological resources Information wit for the House Sergeant at Arms. Information Services staff collaborate with other House offices and other SAA divisions to select, implement and maintain robust and secure hardware and software solutions. Incumbent supports all SAA technological resources. Duties include implementing hardware and software, administering Windows clients and servers, maintaining websites, databases and software applications, and providing technical support to the SAA end-user community. Duties: Typical duties include, but are not necessarily limited to: Deploys and upgrades computer hardware and software. Images and configures Windows clients and servers. Manages Active Directory objects. Manages NTFS permissions. Manages VMWare Vsphere virtual servers, including Windows firewalls. Troubleshoots advanced technical problems. Supports and administers a wide range of applications including SharePoint, ArcGIS, Appian, SQL Server and WebEOC. Manages telecommunications equipment, including iPhones and iPads. Supports Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes. Performs other duties as assigned
