Job Description
- Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.
- As appropriate, perform procedures under aseptic conditions.
- Actively assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development.
- Maintain cell lines.
- Prepare test solutions in accordance with directions.
- Meticulously maintain precise records in accordance with good laboratory practices.
- Assist in writing of reports.
- Follow all PSL safety requirements.
- Oversees all laboratory assays and day to day procedures.
- Creates and maintains lab assay schedule.
- Leads training of In Vitro Scientists.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred.
- Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture
- Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of South Brunswick Township, NJ are encouraged to apply.
The pay range of this position is $25/h - $35/h depending on related experience and qualification.
