Job Description

  • Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.
  • As appropriate, perform procedures under aseptic conditions.
  • Actively assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development.
  • Maintain cell lines.
  • Prepare test solutions in accordance with directions.
  • Meticulously maintain precise records in accordance with good laboratory practices.
  • Assist in writing of reports.
  • Follow all PSL safety requirements.
  • Oversees all laboratory assays and day to day procedures.
  • Creates and maintains lab assay schedule.
  • Leads training of In Vitro Scientists.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred.
  • Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture
  • Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of South Brunswick Township, NJ are encouraged to apply.

The pay range of this position is $25/h - $35/h depending on related experience and qualification.
