Job Description

  • Preform qualifications and validations utilizing cutting edge instrumentation such as cSDS, cIEF, HPLC, UV-Vis, slope spectroscopy  
  • Prepare samples for sample testing through dilution and other techniques 
  • Independently preform assigned assay within deadlines 
  • Draft qualification and verification reports with the help of senior scientists 
  • Record lab work in real time via an electronic lab notebook   
  • Contribute scientific data that is used in BLA filing 
  • Develop and optimize methods preceding method qualifications and validations

Qualifications

  • At least a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Biochemistry 
  • At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience is required utilizing HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)
  • Advanced degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry 
  • Understanding of Method development/optimization/qualification/validation 
  • Experience with analytical methods including cSDS, cIEF, UV-Vis, slope spectroscopy
  • Ability to pipette accurately 
  • A strong background and hands on experience with analytical techniques 
  • Experience technical writing: SOP's, validation reports 
  • Experience with Empower 3 and electronic lab notebooks 
  • Firm understanding of interpreting analytical data  
  • Knowledge of GMP/GLP/GDP 

Additional Information

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm as core hours with additional adjusting hours that must meet 40 hours per week
