About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant - Senior Technology Portfolio Analyst to be part of Cybersecurity.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products & services for medium to large business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
  • Review customer information with the technology team
  • Implement technical initiatives for complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
  • Lead initiatives for complex projects and work with the technology team to assess customer information and recommend best solutions to the customer
  • Conduct research or testing of achieving market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory or compliance issues and implications of new implementations
  • Collaborate and consult with the technology team to resolve issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
  • Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
  • Portfolio Execution & Governance Support
  • Independently execute assigned portfolio management activities including intake, prioritization workflows, and governance routines.
  • Serve as operational back-up to the Lead TPM for defined portfolio areas.
  • Monitor alignment to RTB/CTB classification and governance standards; escalate exceptions as needed.
  • Financial & Capacity Management
  • Own forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis for assigned portfolios or programs.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Services Leaders to validate headcount, budget, and spend.
  • Coordinate AU and cost center maintenance activities following governance requirements.
  • Data Management, Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare recurring portfolio reports, dashboards, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Ensure data accuracy across enterprise systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, registry/capacity tools, and financial platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Move the Line (MTL) Coordination Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end MTL activities across Internal, Tech-for-Tech, and External-to-Tech moves.
  • Support MTL intake, planning, and execution by validating rosters, work scope, applications, controls/RAUs, and financial elements.
  • Track MTL timelines, approvals, and documentation across engagement, review, execution, and post-move phases.
  • Ensure accuracy of registry updates, AU/cost center changes, and system updates tied to MTL activity.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and exceptions to the Lead TPM or Business Services leadership.
  • Tools, Processes & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain portfolio and MTL artifacts and documentation in accordance with enterprise standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within assigned scope.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
  • Engage cross-functional partners including Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, TPCE, BCM, and Business Services.
  • Translate portfolio and MTL data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience with basic Power Query skills, be able to pull and refine data from multiple sources, perform data hygiene activities, and identify anomalies or inconsistencies within datasets.

Desired Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in technology portfolio management, business services, program management, or operations.

    • Experience supporting or coordinating Move to Leader (MTL) or workforce transition activities preferred.

    • Demonstrated ability to independently manage moderately complex work.

    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.

    • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, registry/capacity tools, financial systems, and Power BI preferred.

    Salary Ranges:

    • $87,000 - $140,000 - Charlotte, NC
    • $87,000 - $140,000 - Chandler, AZ
    • $87,000 - $140,000 - Irving, TX
    • $96,000 - $154,000 - Minneapolis, MN

    Pay Range
     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

    $87,000.00 - $154,000.00
