The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Data Center Critical Facility Program Lead, supporting our Data Center Critical Facility Team to join the team in Phoenix, AZ.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with extensive experience managing mission-critical facility operations, including data center infrastructure, electrical systems, mechanical systems, environmental monitoring, and uptime reliability.
In this role, you will leverage your hands-on experience to ensure safe, secure, resilient, and highly available operation of critical facility environments that support enterprise technology operations. Proficiency in data center operations, preventive maintenance planning, emergency response, vendor management, facility compliance, and infrastructure lifecycle management is essential. You should have a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex critical environments with the ability to oversee operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.Â
Position Responsibilities:Â
Â
Manage daily operations of the data center and critical facility environment to ensure maximum uptime and reliabilityÂ
Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generator, fire suppression, and monitoring systems supporting mission-critical operationsÂ
Develop and execute preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair programs for critical infrastructureÂ
Monitor facility performance, alarms, capacity, and environmental conditions to proactively identify and resolve issuesÂ
Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel performing work in the facilityÂ
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and corporate facility standardsÂ
Lead incident response efforts for power, cooling, environmental, and infrastructure eventsÂ
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceÂ
Develop and maintain facility documentation, including SOPs, emergency procedures, maintenance logs, and capacity plansÂ
Manage control processes for facility systems to reduce risk to critical operationsÂ
Collaborate with IT, network, security, operations, and leadership teams to align facility performance with business needsÂ
Support growth planning, space planning, and infrastructure expansion for future capacity requirementsÂ
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to resiliency, efficiency, and operational excellenceÂ
Provide training and guidance to facilities staff and stakeholders on critical facility proceduresÂ
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standardsÂ
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Â
Â
5+ years of experience managing data center and large IT systems
5+ years of experience with Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and/or Mechanical Control Systems
5+ years of experience in support of electrical power systems (electrical system design, electrical system verification, troubleshooting and/or support of anomaly resolution)
5+ years of experience overseeing preventive maintenance, inspections, and service planningÂ
5+ years of experience in Incident Management
5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
5+ years of experience in Business Continuity (Emergency Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Business Resiliency, and/or Emergency Response)
5+ years of experience in vendor management
5+ years of experience with facility monitoring systems, alarms, and infrastructure reporting toolsÂ
5+ years of experience ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and operational standardsÂ
5+ years of experience with AC power distribution and UPS systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Â

Experience with data center certifications or industry frameworksÂ
Experience with capacity planning, space management, and infrastructure lifecycle planningÂ
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex facility issues quickly and effectivelyÂ
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and leadershipÂ
Experience leading operational improvement initiatives in a 24x7 critical environmentÂ
