Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support our quality control and quality assurance operations, working hands-on with products and processes that directly impact patient safety and customer confidence. You’ll partner with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks, perform inspections and rework, and use quality tools and systems to collect and evaluate data. What to expect:

• Support quality assurance activities within a production or operations environment.
• Assist with the containment, isolation, and handling of nonconforming product.
• Support the processing of nonconformances by collecting, entering, and evaluating data using software tools or programs.
• Follow written procedures and quality assurance protocols accurately and consistently.
• Assist in the development or refinement of quality assurance and control methods and procedures under guidance.
• Work with engineers to conduct experiments, follow instructions, and accurately record results.
• Complete documentation and inspection activities with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and other team members to support quality outcomes.
• Raise questions or concerns when a product, process, or activity does not appear to meet quality expectations.
• Meet assigned deadlines while following established procedures and quality requirements.

What we expect:

• Understanding of nonconformances and quality assurance concepts in a production or operations environment.
• Previous experience containing and isolating nonconforming product.
• Prior experience in quality, manufacturing, lab work, or technical support is required.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing would be beneficial.
• Ability to follow written procedures and quality assurance protocols related to production or operations.
• Basic data skills, including the ability to use software tools or programs to collect, enter, and evaluate data as part of processing nonconformances.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection activities.
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to ask clarifying questions when needed.
• A detail-oriented and careful approach, with a strong focus on doing work correctly and consistently.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced technicians and engineers.
• Reliability and responsibility in following established procedures and meeting assigned deadlines.
• A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate well with engineers and operations personnel.
• A proactive approach to raising questions or concerns when something does not appear to meet quality expectations.
• High School diploma, H.S./GED, or Associate Degree, depending on job family and role requirements.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $53,500- $80,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs and market demand.
