Our entrepreneurial Digital Platforms team is seeking a strategic, high-performing Digital Banking Product Owner to help define the vision, shape the product strategy, and lead the execution of several high-impact initiatives to help scale our platform. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of and influence the future direction of our platform, solve complex business problems, and deliver meaningful impact for our clients.
As a Product Manager, you will work on high-impact technology initiatives that bring innovative banking products and capabilities to market across the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE client-facing web and mobile platforms. You will partner closely with Digital Product Managers and collaborate across design, engineering, operations, legal, risk, compliance, fraud and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and client-centric experiences that deepen client relationships and support the firm’s strategic priorities.
You will help execute the digital product strategy, translate objectives into actionable product roadmaps, and deliver scalable solutions that drive deposit growth, increase digital engagement, strengthen cash management offerings, and position the firm as a market leader in the digital banking space.
Position Summary
Work in a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative environment designing next-generation banking technology for clients (mobile apps, websites, embedded AI etc.).
Design innovative new products with market-leading competitive advantages that transform how clients save, manage, move, and spend their money.
Execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital banking product offerings.
Deliver new products by partnering directly with technology, business, and operations teams to define and write requirements, manage the overall project plan, and execute deliverables.
Engage in client research, requirements development, and user experience design for new digital products.
Support usability testing and translate findings into product improvements that drive increased adoption.
Research and analyze the digital banking and wealth management industries, with a focus on cash management and digital payments.
Experience:
3+ years of technology product management or software developmentÂ
Experience with software delivery methodologies including AgileÂ
Professional experience in consumer technology, banking, wealth management and/or top tier consulting firm with a focus on digital strategy is a plusÂ
Understanding of banking deposit products, payments, systems, and latest developing tech in this spaceÂ
BA/BSÂ requiredÂ
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail in both technical and non-technical capacityÂ
Understanding of retail banking space and emerging technologiesÂ
Deep understanding of web and mobile technologiesÂ
Focus on usability and eye for designÂ
Excellent relationship building capabilities with partners both internal and external to the organizationÂ
Self-motivated/independent and comfort working in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Strategic thinker able to define and evaluate problems and solutions, and translate goals into specific project tasksÂ
Excellent communicator with solid written and verbal presentation skillsÂ
Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability for workÂ
