The Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks continue to execute on multi-year strategic priorities aligned with Firm strategy, including expanding the breadth of banking solutions offered to clients. The Deposits & Cash Management team is focused on growing core deposit capabilities, strengthening client relationships, and developing new products to support evolving client needs.

Role Overview

This role supports the operational execution and client onboarding of Morgan Stanley’s new corporate deposit product offering, including overnight and term deposit capabilities delivered through digital banking platforms.

The successful candidate will serve as a central “quarterback” across Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Operations, ensuring seamless client onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing product support. As a Vice President, this role will also be responsible for establishing scalable processes and building out a middle office support function as the product platform grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary coordination point ("quarterback") across stakeholders to facilitate end-to-end client onboarding

  • Support Sales and Product teams throughout the onboarding lifecycle, including client interactions, demos, and follow-ups

  • Lead Online Banking setup, walkthroughs, and client demonstrations of platform capabilities

  • Conduct follow-up outreach with clients to ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation and requirements

  • Manage inbound client inquiries and issues, providing timely resolution or escalation as appropriate

  • Maintain and update onboarding status within Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of operational stages and pipeline progression

  • Help design and implement a scalable ticketing and case management system for client support and issue tracking

  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement across onboarding and support workflows

  • Support build-out and management of a middle office product support team as the platform scales

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of experience in client onboarding, middle office, product support, or cash management operations

  • Experience supporting corporate banking products, ideally deposits or treasury services

  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end onboarding processes and client lifecycle activities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously

  • Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities

  • Ability to operate effectively across Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations teams

  • Strong attention to detail with focus on process integrity and data accuracy (e.g., Salesforce tracking)

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with both internal stakeholders and external clients

  • Execution-oriented mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced, build environment

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
