Security Manager | Manufacturing Security Operations

Our client is seeking a Security Manager to lead and oversee physical security operations for a manufacturing facility in the Fort Worth area. This position is responsible for maintaining site security programs, managing contract security personnel, leading incident response efforts, and ensuring the protection of employees, facilities, inventory, and intellectual property.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of security leadership, compliance knowledge, emergency response experience, and the ability to manage security operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Position may require participation in after-hours incident response and support for 24/7 facility operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage contract security personnel and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and security-related drills.
• Oversee daily physical security operations for a manufacturing facility.
• Monitor security vendor performance, compliance metrics, and service levels.
• Prepare reports, security metrics, and incident documentation for leadership.
• Develop and maintain security programs, policies, procedures, and site standards.
• Conduct security assessments and implement measures to reduce operational risk.
• Partner with Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, EHS, IT, and local authorities on security matters.
• Administer access control, visitor management, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and perimeter security programs.
• Lead investigations involving security incidents, theft, vandalism, workplace threats, and other facility-related events.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Prior supervisory or security leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of security, law enforcement, security compliance, or related experience.
• Experience supporting security operations within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, distribution, or similarly regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of access-control systems, CCTV platforms, alarm monitoring, incident investigations, and emergency response procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong incident investigation and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with manufacturing security standards and compliance programs.
• Familiarity with export-control requirements and customer security protocols.
• Experience managing third-party security vendors or contract guard services.
