Our client is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality acquisition of electronic components, mechanical parts, and related materials. This role supports manufacturing and repair operations by maintaining accurate purchase data, coordinating with global suppliers, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and international trade regulations.

Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations
- Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Maintain accurate material master data (lead time, MOQ, pricing, vendor codes, purchase codes)
- Monitor inventory levels, track shortages, and resolve material issues to support production continuity.
- Purchase electronic components, mechanical parts, and consumables for production and repair operations.
Supplier Management
- Evaluate supplier performance and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support sourcing activities and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, including Asia and North America.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Support demand planning and inventory management.
- Assist with import/export processes and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Mandarin proficiency highly preferred for supplier coordination.
- 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience in electronics or manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience purchasing electronic components, mechanical parts, or manufacturing materials.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with global sourcing.
- Working knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export processes, and customs compliance.
Working Conditions:
- On‑site role in a manufacturing and office environment.
- Occasional overtime during critical production periods.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with production, engineering, logistics, and suppliers.
