Job Overview

The Radio Frequency/SIF Specialist supports operations by ensuring all RF equipment, batteries, and accessories are in working order and performing up to OEM specifications.  This role will partner with operations to continuously inventory the RF equipment and check for equipment that is not working properly.  Also, performs backup duties for the supply specialist and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for deployment and upgrading of RF equipment.
• Repair and replacement auditing on a continuous basis.
• Tracking and monitoring loaner laptops, tablets, and handheld radios
• Inspection and repair of facility handheld radios
• Backup and support supplies specialist to ensure operations has adequate inventory throughout the year
• Monitor RF units to ensure proper operation time and zero latency issues occur
• RF and handheld radio battery life cycle management
• RF and handheld radio battery recycling 
• Represent Finance team in both Safety and Asset Protection 
• Ensure all company policy and procedure directives are followed
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality 

Qualifications and Competencies

• High School Diploma required, some college preferred.
• Must be able to:
  • Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret employment policies, instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Essential Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision
• Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
• Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs  

Supply Chain Only and Colleagues Working in a Supply Chain Facility except in locations governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement:  

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification
