Massage Therapist - Per Diem

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem Massage Therapist to our Team at NorthPointe!

• Shift: Varied
• Schedule: 1:30pm - 10pm (primarily)
• Hours per week: Varied - Per Diem
• Benefits Status: Not Eligible
• Department: NorthPointe Spa

The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services and body wraps to promote relaxation, reduce pain and stress, improve circulation, and support overall wellness.

• Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps tailored to individual patient and client needs.
• Conduct client assessments and review health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and other approved modalities within scope of practice.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and services provided in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and clients on self-care practices, stretching, wellness, and stress management techniques.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy, and professional practice standards.
• Monitor patient response during treatment and modify techniques as appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Current Illinois state licensure as a Massage Therapist
• Excellent hands-on therapeutic massage skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with patients and clients.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic massage techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
