Beloit Health System is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing Inpatient Acute Care team. Opportunities are available on our Medical Surgical, Special Care Oncology, Advanced Joint Care Center, and Float Pool Departments. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to hospitalized patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

- Shift: 1st and 3rd shift
- Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Hours per week: 30-36 hours per week

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical, Special Care Oncology, Advanced Joint Care Center, and Float Pool Departments. provides direct, patient-centered nursing care to hospitalized patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes. The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures safe, high-quality care, provides patient and family education, maintains accurate documentation, and supports a positive patient experience throughout hospitalization.
The Registered Nurse will:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention and quality improvement standards.
- Prioritize and coordinate care effectively based on patient acuity.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.
- State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).
- Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply proper procedures to Beloit Health System policies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
