A Day in the Life
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

At Medtronic, the Clinical Manager, Enabling Technologies partners with the field sales teams in achieving unit/revenue goals and enhancing customer satisfaction by effectively managing the regionās clinical team. The CM is fully competent clinically and will provide case, customer and patient support whileĀ facilitatingĀ cross-district and cross-regionĀ collaboration onĀ to resolve resource constraints.āÆĀ

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:āÆĀ
ManagesĀ and coaches Enabling Technologies Clinical Consultant employees through field visits, individual or group meetings, and direct conversationsāÆĀ
Responsible for the performance of the clinical support of Enabling Technologies (Robotic Assisted Surgery) platforms and Neurosurgery portfoliosāÆĀ
Ensures efficient and effective scheduling of case coverage for the district including case coverage and service workāÆĀ
Partners to ensure coordinated sales and clinical efforts across the district, driving clinical efficiencies and case coverageāÆĀ
Schedules resources for clinical events working closely with the Enabling Technologies District ManagerāÆĀ
Ensures all direct reports have annual/quarterlyĀ objectivesĀ and implement a regular schedule ofĀ evaluating⯠performance, providing feedback and coaching, and documenting performance needs and achievements; implement performance improvement plans, if neededāÆĀ
Communicates and reinforces corporate Mission, Enabling Technologies strategy and key initiatives, goals, and activitiesāÆĀ
Implements activities and strategies to achieve short and long-term businessĀ objectivesĀ especially related to clinical activitiesāÆĀ
Directs and motivates employees to achieve clinical goalsāÆĀ
Provides ongoing feedback/coaching and regular performance and development discussions with employeesāÆand implements corrective actions where necessaryāÆĀ
Documents field visits with employees with actionsĀ observedĀ and suggestions for improvement for the individual Clinical Consultants and adheres to, communicates, and reinforces Medtronic policies and business conduct standards as neededāÆĀ
Oversees the training and development of Clinical Consultants in product knowledge and competitive knowledgeāÆĀ
Coaches and advises employees on teamwork, time and task management, and career developmentāÆĀ
AssistsĀ employees with the creation and ongoing implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPās)āÆĀ
IdentifiesĀ clinical opportunitiesĀ through the use ofĀ analytics and/or field visitsāÆāÆĀ
Addresses clinical opportunities through coaching or the development of specific measurable projectsāÆĀ
Provides direction to employeesĀ regardingĀ the management of assets, expenses, budgets, etc.āÆĀ
Performs administrative tasks related to cost center management, expenses, email, and other communication activitiesāÆĀ
Ensures personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicableāÆĀ
Follows all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality workāÆĀ
Partners with both the Enabling Technologies District Manager, and HR to recruit and hire top candidates for open positionsāÆĀ
Continually works toĀ maintainĀ a strong, diverse personnel ābenchā of candidates for use in future hiring opportunitiesāÆĀ

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
