We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:Ā Ā 

Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support toĀ assistĀ the district in meetingĀ Cardiac RhythmĀ ManagementĀ sales and customer serviceĀ objectives.  CRMĀ seeksĀ collaborativeĀ candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products,Ā processesĀ and systems by being accountable, having a voice andĀ taking action.Ā

Clinical SpecialistsĀ are required toĀ be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS’s areĀ requiredĀ to workĀ a number ofĀ weekends and holidays during the quarter, asĀ determinedĀ by local management.Ā Ā Weeknight call coverage is the primary responsibility of the Sales Rep, however, at times, business and/or geographical needs require a CS to be scheduled for weeknight coverage as approved by regional management.Ā

Ā POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā 

Technical SupportĀ 

  • Successfully completesĀ CRMĀ Field Technical Training – including online and field-based trainingĀ 

  • Performs checks/interrogations of allĀ CRMĀ medical device systems post sign-offĀ Ā 

  • Supports implants of allĀ CRMĀ products post sign-offĀ 

  • Provides on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-offĀ 

  • Provide troubleshooting support as requestedĀ 

Ā 

Operational SupportĀ 

  • Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentationĀ 

  • Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtainedĀ 

  • ProvidesĀ additionalĀ inventory support to meet customer needsĀ 

  • Maintains software on programmers throughout the district as directedĀ 

  • AssistsĀ with managing daily coverageĀ logisticsĀ as neededĀ 

Ā 

Educational SupportĀ 

  • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on productsĀ or solutions for which training has been completedĀ 

  • AssistsĀ with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-offĀ 

Ā 

Sales SupportĀ 

  • Partners with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of how MedtronicĀ CRMĀ products and solutions offer value to the customerĀ 

  • AssistsĀ with obtaining customer POs throughout the quarterĀ 

  • Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscapeĀ 

  • IndependentlyĀ identifiesĀ customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectivesĀ 

Ā 

Ongoing Technical DevelopmentĀ 

  • Stays up to date on new products,Ā solutions,Ā and patient management offeringsĀ 

  • Completes all assigned trainingĀ in a timely mannerĀ

MUST HAVE -Ā MINIMUMĀ QUALIFICATIONS:Ā

  • High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 4 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales or work experienceĀ utilizingĀ complex mathematics, mechanical concepts,Ā scienceĀ or computingĀ

  • Associate degreeĀ PLUS a minimum 2 years of work experience in the healthcare, field sales or work experienceĀ utilizingĀ complex mathematics, mechanical concepts,Ā scienceĀ or computingĀ

  • Bachelor’s DegreeĀ Ā

NICE TO HAVE -Ā DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, life sciences, biomedical engineeringĀ Ā 

  • Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinicĀ or cardiology experienceĀ Ā 

  • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel,Ā peersĀ and technical support personnelĀ Ā 

  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industryĀ Ā 

  • Excellent customer service skillsĀ Ā 

  • Proven ability to build/maintainĀ positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levelsĀ Ā 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skillsĀ Ā 

  • Ability to coordinate/participateĀ inĀ numerousĀ tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlinesĀ Ā 

  • Strong work ethic in accomplishingĀ objectivesĀ of the positionĀ Ā 

  • ExpertiseĀ with Microsoft tools and other business applications (i.e., SalesForce.com)Ā Ā 

  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirementsĀ Ā

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$67,000.00 - $79,000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
