Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support toĀ assistĀ the district in meetingĀ Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)Ā sales and customer serviceĀ objectives.  CRMĀ seeksĀ collaborativeĀ candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products,Ā processes,Ā and systems by being accountable, having a voice andĀ acting promptly.Ā

This role supports theĀ BaltimoreĀ territory and requires candidates toĀ resideĀ within the assigned area and travel regularly to customer accounts. Clinical Specialists must be available to support urgent customer needs andĀ participateĀ in weekend, holiday, and occasional after-hours coverage as business needs require. A valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards areĀ required.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā 

  • ProvideĀ technical support for CRM devices and therapies by performing system checks/interrogations, supporting implants, troubleshooting issues, and applying knowledge gained through comprehensive CRM field training.Ā 

  • CoordinateĀ operational support by ensuringĀ accurateĀ patientĀ documentation, managing inventory and equipment resources,Ā maintainingĀ programmer software, andĀ assistingĀ with daily coverageĀ logisticsĀ to meet customer and business needs.Ā 

  • EducateĀ physicians, hospital staff, office personnel, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and solutions, while supporting the onboarding and development of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives.Ā 

  • CollaborateĀ with sales leadership and field partners to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the value of Medtronic CRM products and solutions.Ā Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ customer opportunities, support purchase order activities,Ā monitorĀ competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to help achieveĀ sales objectives.Ā 

  • MaintainĀ technicalĀ expertiseĀ by staying current on new CRM products, therapies, solutions, and patient management offerings to effectively support customers and clinical outcomes.Ā 

  • TravelĀ extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings, with frequent independent driving – approximate 80% of the timeĀ 

  • PerformĀ physical job requirements, including frequent two-handed lifting of up toĀ 40 lbs., sitting, standing, and walking forĀ 8+ hours per day, and regularly bending, stooping, squatting, andĀ maintainingĀ balance.Ā 

  • WorkĀ effectively in clinical environments with exposure to eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation, while wearingĀ 7-9 lbs.Ā of lead for extended periods,Ā utilizingĀ computers and mobile devices, andĀ maintainingĀ the vision capabilities necessary to support patient care and field-based responsibilities.Ā

RequiredĀ Qualifications:Ā 

  • High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 6 yearsĀ ORĀ Associate’s DegreeĀ PLUS a minimum 4 yearsĀ ORĀ Bachelor’s Degree PLUS a minimum 2 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or work experienceĀ utilizingĀ complex mathematics, mechanical concepts,Ā scienceĀ or computingĀ Ā

Preferred Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor'sĀ degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineeringĀ 

  • 2+ years inĀ Cath lab,Ā EP Lab, hospital/clinic with cardiology knowledgeĀ 

  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industryĀ 

  • ExpertiseĀ with Microsoft tools & other applications (i.e.,Ā SalesForce.com)Ā 

  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirementsĀ 

  • Ability to coordinate/participateĀ inĀ numerousĀ tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlinesĀ 

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):72000-90000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
