Finance Department Assistant

Schedule: 32 hours per week (Monday- Friday 8:00am-2:00pm)

Position Summary

The Finance Department Assistant provides administrative and accounts payable support to the Finance Department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing vendor payments, and ensuring timely completion of assigned duties. This position assists with financial documentation, vendor management, and daily departmental operations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. The Finance Department Assistant serves as a resource to internal and external customers and supports the mission, vision, and values of Bluegrass Care Navigators through professional and efficient service.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of business office experience required.
• Prior experience with accounts payable processes and vendor account maintenance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accurate data entry skills preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, families, co-workers, and vendor representatives.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order that is insured in accordance with state minimum requirements.
