WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Â
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about sustainability and Nike and who will leave a lasting impact on our Global Sustainability team. As an Intern, you will work in one of the following areas:
- Climate & Environment
- Engagement
- Geo Sustainability
- Marketplace Sustainability
- People & Human Rights
- Supply Chain Compliance
- Sustainability Compliance & Reporting
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE:Â
In the role of a Nike Global Sustainability Graduate Intern, you will work with teams Globally across Nike to embed sustainability into business, manufacturing, operations, and marketplace initiatives. As a Global Sustainability Intern, you will lead one or more projects that will require you to work across a range of stakeholders, exercise and showcase critical and strategic thinking and problem solving to deliver insights that will move the business forward.
Previous Intern project examples include:
- Develop a strategy for how Nike could incorporate carbon offsets in its enterprise climate strategy.
- Research and create a playbook on how Nike should elevate its sustainability presence at key running races.
- Develop a strategy to enhance sustainability efforts at North America distribution centers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Â
Qualifications:Â
- Enrolled in a Business (MBA) and/or Environmental Science graduate program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028Â
- Background in Social and Environmental Sustainability, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Textiles, Finance, or Retail preferredÂ
- At least 2 years of work experience requiredÂ

Skills:Â
- General sustainability skills/knowledge strongly preferred, including experience in corporate responsibility, climate, natural resources, circularity, people and human rights and/or other related topicsÂ
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams in a highly matrixed organization
- Strong project management, problem structuring and solving skills
- Self-starter that is comfortable with ambiguity and has a bias for action Â
- Ability to decipher themes, make decisions, and tell stories from large datasets Â
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including senior leadership Â
- Have an inquisitive, growth-focused and process-oriented mindsetÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Clearly demonstrated passion for sustainability and NikeÂ
