Job Description
As an Environmental Technician/Operator you will Operate Vac truck and heavy machinery to support environmental cleanup projects and committed workloads. Work includes pit cleaning of sandtraps from carwashes, soil removal, waste handling, and site restoration. Safety and teamwork are key.
Responsibilities
- Run equipment like excavators, loaders, vac trucks, and backhoes
- Help with spill cleanup, O&M, and waste transport
- Inspect and maintain equipment
- Follow safety rules and cleanup plans
- Keep basic logs and communicate with the crew
Requirements
- 2+ years of heavy equipment experience
- Valid driver’s license (CDL required)
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER (or willing to get trained)
- Work on weekends and be on-call
