Summary

These positions are located with Bonneville Power Administration in Lines (TIPL) and Substations (TIPS), Project Portfolio Management (TIP), Transmission Infrastructure Asset Management (TI), Transmission Services (T). A successful candidate in the Civil Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Electrical Engineer position will serve as an engineering Project Manager (PM) to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for assigned engineering projects.

Duties

As a Civil Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Electrical Engineer, you will: Lead cross-functional teams, including planning, marketing and sales, environmental, and constituent and customer account executives to execute strategic project outcomes. Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis (may include multiple projects) with regard to scope, budget, schedule and quality. Maintain consistent communication with the project sponsor, resource managers, and other stakeholders on the progress of the project against the plan. Collaborate, coordinate, and work in conjunction with other organizations. Resolve resource allocation issues with business units and resource managers.

Requirements

Current Federal employees or other individuals with an existing completed background investigation may not be required to undergo another background check. Overnight Travel: 4-10 Days Per Month.

Qualifications and evaluation

Category Rating Procedure: You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above. If you are minimally qualified for this job, your responses to the SME Structured Interview rating assessment(s) will be evaluated and you will be placed into one of three predefined quality categories. These categories are Best Qualified, Well Qualified, and Qualified. If you do not complete the interview, you will be removed from further consideration for the position.
