Our client is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager to oversee high-volume foodservice operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, food safety compliance, team development, and overall client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale dining operations, leading teams, driving operational performance, and maintaining high standards of food quality and guest experience.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and team members.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and resource allocation.
- Support budgeting, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives.
- Oversee daily foodservice operations in a high-volume dining environment.
- Monitor operational performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and best practices throughout foodservice operations.
- Develop and implement operational plans aligned with organizational and client objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service excellence, efficiency, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience executing operational plans and driving performance improvements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience overseeing foodservice or hospitality operations.
- Experience managing teams in high-volume dining, hospitality, institutional, or foodservice settings.
- Working knowledge of HACCP standards, food safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience within foodservice, hospitality, dining services, or a related operational environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-unit or multi-department operational management experience.
- Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational performance metrics.
- Experience supporting sustainability programs and continuous improvement efforts.
- Background in customer service, guest experience initiatives, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Experience within higher education, healthcare, contract foodservice, hospitality, corporate dining, or large-scale institutional dining environments.
