Summary
The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer, to serve as a Flight Commander in an AFRC Intelligence Squadron. The employee has responsibility for all intelligence operational training and operational matters for the unit. The employee also has responsibility for orchestrating related Air Force Reserve integration into global Air Force ISR operations and training via associated programs.
Duties
DUTY 1: Provides expertise on Intelligence operations, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, All-Source / Fusion Analysis, and intelligence products for execution of intelligence taskings, collection, processing, analysis and dissemination. DUTY 2: Organizes, plans, and oversees the activities of the unit's operations and training programs. DUTY 3: Serves as an AFRC intelligence expert, interfacing with AFRC and AF Operations Centers, to maintain command/control/oversight and tasking of Air Force Reserve Forces within the Intelligence Squadron as well as Regular Air Force (RegAF) units, missions, and operations. DUTY 4: Manages the Flight operations and training, apportioning and scheduling programs for assigned members. DUTY 5: Manages training and readiness for the Flight.

***Position may be eligible for TLMS*** Applicant must be commissioned or commissionable as an ART Officer in the Air Force Reserve. Air Reserve Technicians are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. In addition, Air Reserve Technicians are required to maintain their active membership in the Air Force Reserve unit where assigned. As members of Reserve units, Air Reserve Technicians receive on average one weekend of military training per month. In addition, they are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay. Air Reserve units and members are subject to immediate call to active duty in mobilization to meet a national emergency. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
