  • Prepare clear recommendations and decision materials for leadership reviews.
  • Support the evaluation of unplanned requests, deferrals, carryover, and multi-year project allocations.
  • Help maintain an executable plan as project conditions, funding, and priorities change.

Financial and portfolio analysis

  • Support budget tracking, forecast updates, funding allocations, carryover, deferrals, and monthly portfolio reporting.
  • Reconcile project information across planning, project, and financial systems.
  • Prepare analysis for capital approval packages, funding transfers, long-term planning submissions, and portfolio reviews.
  • Identify forecast variances, data inconsistencies, funding risks, and opportunities to improve portfolio execution.
  • Partner with ICC Finance to ensure that planning information is complete, timely, and aligned with financial requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit support for portfolio and funding decisions.

Tools, data, and reporting

  • Maintain data quality in the Project Support Tool and related planning systems.
  • Support data integration, reporting, dashboards, and continuous improvement of planning tools.
  • Analyze trends in asset condition, project requests, risk, funding, execution, and carryover.
  • Help improve data definitions, reporting standards, and planning workflows.
  • Partner with Governance and Data Analytics to improve the use of asset-health and lifecycle information in investment decisions.

Stakeholder coordination

  • Build effective working relationships with Facilities Operations, Construction, Finance, site teams, project managers, and technical subject-matter experts.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, track actions, and drive closure on planning deliverables.
  • Communicate complex assumptions, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide responsive support to project managers and site stakeholders throughout the planning and funding cycle.

Continuous improvement and succession coverage

  • Document core planning processes, decision principles, recurring activities, and stakeholder interfaces.
  • Cross-train with the other Sr. Analyst, Asset Sustainment, to provide reliable coverage.
  • Take increasing ownership of portions of the annual planning cycle and portfolio reporting process.
  • Contribute to improvements that make Asset Sustainment planning more transparent, repeatable, efficient, and scalable.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Operations, Facilities Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, capital planning, project portfolio management, business operations, facilities, infrastructure, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
