3.5 hours per day, 5 days per week 

$24.64-$31.42 an hour

Requirements / Qualifications

If you are NOT currently or never have been a Paraprofessional for VUSD, you must include proof of one of the following:

Two years of college (48 units) 

A. A. degree (or higher) 

Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. You will also need to provide proof of passing the district Translator test.

We schedule the Paraprofessional Exams by appointment only here at the District Office. Please call our office 707-453-6114 to schedule or email Sharon Lee and Abbie Capps to schedule. Please note: we do accept certificates or scores on exams from other verifiable agencies and they do not expire. We do not accept online exams. Please contact Ed Services, 707-453-6116 regarding the District Translator exam.
