The NVIDIA Legal team is seeking a Director, IP Licensing to be part of a dynamic and growing company and Legal team. NVIDIA’s Legal Department operates at the intersection of law and technology. We provide legal solutions impacting some of the most important trends in technology, including graphics, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. As a team, we engage with engineers and management on a vast array of legal issues across the world!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with the legal team and executive team on our IP licensing matters.

  • Managing our pre-litigation activities relating to IP licensing.

  • Negotiating licenses.

What we need to see:

  • A J.D. degree and license to practice law in California.

  • 10+ years of experience in U.S. federal IP litigation.

  • 4+ years of leadership experience.

  • Strong written and oral advocacy.

  • Great judgment and management skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Technical expertise in computer hardware and software.

  • Engineering degree or equivalent is a plus.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 308,000 USD - 471,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
