THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number T5737000 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 2, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Veterans' preference does not apply to this vacancy due to internal merit promotion.
Duties
As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (GS-2005-7), you will provide services in support of inventory control, storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems. Manages aviation materials and resource tracking(i.e. Depot Level Repairable (DLR)/Class 9 (CLIX) funds and all other appropriate air and ground budgets), Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)/tools management, and Hazardous Material Management.

Applicants who meet one of the DoD Priority Placement Program retained grade preference must submit the following documentation: 1. Retained Grade PPP Self Certification Checklist (DD3145-1) 2. SF-50 affecting the placement in retained grade status, and; 3. A copy of the notification letter received (RIF or classification downgrade).

You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. Head of Agency requests to exceed 14days in a calendar year must be approved in advance by the National Guard, Director of Man power and Personnel (NGB-J1).
