Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Heritage Club on Robins AFB, GA. Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits. Must be available to work irregular hours to include weekends and Holidays. Must complete a Food Handling and DRAM shop training.

Duties

Operates cash register, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change, processes credit card sale, or charges to member's account. At the end of each tour of duty clears the cash register, and turns over cash, cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, club tokens, coupons, and other supporting documents as instructed. May be required to prepare bank deposits and ensure daily deposit is completed in a timely manner. May prepare cash reports and notify supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Cashes checks and accepts payment for dues and charges to accounts. Accepts and processes new membership applications. Conducts daily inventories. Maintains area in clean and orderly condition. In a Food Activity: Performs check-out duties such as taking orders, ringing up food, beverages, and merchandise by individual item; delivering prepared food items to clients, totaling sales, processing credit card sales, receiving money and making change. May perform related food-service duties such as setting tables, assisting in setting up the serving line, replenishing beverage dispensers, ensuring kitchen staff is advised when buffet line needs replenishment and dining area clean-up. Performs other related duties as assigned. In a Bingo Activity: Performs check-out such as selling bingo cards and session packs and other associated session and special game cards to include Quick Shot Cards and Electronic Cards. May be required to performs other duties such as bingo calling and verifying winners. May be required to take/deliver food orders to participants. May be required to take payment and make change. Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD). Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
