Responsibilities
Peraton Labs is seeking a Senior Program Operations Analyst to support the FAA BNATCS CTO organization in a fast-paced, highly collaborative mission environment. This role will serve as a key member of the BNATCS CTO Operations team and help establish and maintain the structure, coordination, documentation, and execution discipline necessary to keep our growing technical organization aligned. The successful candidate will work across technical teams, operational leadership, and internal and customer stakeholders to ensure commitments are captured, actions are assigned and followed through to completion, meetings are productive and documented, and team priorities and deliverable remain visible and organized.
This role is ideal for an individual who is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple workstreams in a startup environment, persistent in driving actions to closure, and capable of influencing execution without relying on formal authority. The Senior Program Operations Analyst must be comfortable interfacing with operational and executive internal and external stakeholders to ensure key objectives and deliverables are dutifully executed.
The strongest candidates for this position should be persistent without being abrasive, structured and detail-oriented, action-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, an effective communicator, proactive, mission-focused, and collaborative.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Maintain and manage team action-items, commitments, decisions, and follow-up tracking, ensuring clear ownership, due dates, status, and closure
- Proactively follow up with action owners and stakeholders to drive commitments to completion and identify overdue, blocked, or at-risk activities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings across internal teams, leadership, customer stakeholders, and partner organizations
- Develop meeting agendas, capture detailed and actionable meeting notes, document decisions, identify follow-up requirements, and distribute or maintain records as appropriate
- Maintain visibility into team priorities, milestones, roadmap activities, deliverables, dependencies, and upcoming commitments
- Serve as a coordination point between technical workstreams, operations personnel, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure information and expectations are communicated consistently
- Support maintenance and organization of operational information across tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, Planner, and other collaboration or work-management platforms
- Help establish and continuously improve repeatable operational processes, templates, meeting structures, trackers, documentation standards, and communication practices.
- Support preparation of status updates, leadership briefings, operational reports, roadmap reviews, and other recurring program materials
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years. 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated ability to stay synced with leadership
- Experience in operations, program coordination, project coordination, program management support, recruiting operations, business operations, staff operations, or another environment requiring management of multiple concurrent activities and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage action items, deadlines, deliverables, priorities, and follow-up activities across multiple individuals or teams
- Experience translating loosely structured discussions into clear actions, owners, deadlines, and documented decisions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records while managing numerous concurrent activities
- Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to capture complex discussions and convert them into concise meeting notes, decisions, actions, and follow-up requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical personnel, managers, senior leaders, customers, and external stakeholders
- Ability to influence and professionally hold peers and stakeholders accountable for commitments and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, including organization documentation, maintaining project information, tracking work, and supporting team workflows
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain an FAA Public Trust suitability
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting technical, engineering, research and development, analytics, IT, aviation, defense, or government program environments
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Planner, Power Automate, Forms, or similar collaboration and workflow-management platforms
- Experience maintaining program roadmaps, integrated schedules, milestone trackers, action logs, decision logs, risk registers, or deliverable trackers
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative delivery methodologies
- Prior leadership or staff experience involving synchronization, planning, battle rhythm management, task tracking, reporting, personnel coordination, or cross-functional execution

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
