The Assurance & Legal Technology Department is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this individual is to drive strategic, functional, and technical agenda for an integrated platform and act as a BA/PM/SM leveraging technical, analytical, and problem-solving background to help drive the team's output to success.
The ideal candidate should have a technical background with experience of managing complex technology projects and interfacing with multiple senior stakeholders across organization, be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically. In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever-moving regulatory landscape.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Strong strategic mindset and a proven track record of delivering technology solutions that effectively meet customer needs.
12+ years of experience in a technical role, with hands-on expertise and a demonstrated history of successful delivery.
Strong leadership capabilities, including 6+ years of experience managing global, cross-functional teams independently and with minimal oversight.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience designing and implementing complex, multi-tenant technology solutions based on leading market products, preferably within Compliance domains.
Proven ability to leverage industry knowledge to understand client needs, design competitive solutions, and successfully partner with multiple clients sharing the same technology platform.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify, document, and resolve complex issues while effectively communicating potential solutions.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across globally distributed and cross-cultural teams.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership, challenge the status quo, drive process improvements, and deliver results.
Strong relationship management skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
Knowledge of financial products or prior experience within an investment banking environment is a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $155,000 and $215,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
