Job Description
As the Digital Engagement Team Lead, you are responsible for end-to-end delivery and optimization of U.S. Bank’s marketing personalization campaigns in its owned digital channels, i.e., the public website, secure online banking portal, and mobile app. By coaching and mentoring a small team of business line-dedicated Engagement Managers while personally overseeing marketing operations for one of the bank's key business lines, you will drive continual improvement of campaign planning, intake, tactics, execution, timing, and reporting through both direction and example. The ideal candidate has a track record of translating business strategy into successful digital marketing tactics and will be comfortable liaising between business line executives, marketing leaders, and marketing technology delivery teams. In addition to accelerating growth through relentless operational excellence, you must serve as a thought leader in the company, helping to engage senior decision-makers and drive consensus around innovation opportunities such as new creative capabilities, analytics-driven experimentation and automation, and AI-powered personalization strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and 10 or more years of experience in marketing, communications, digital engagement, customer experience, or related fields, including five or more years of leadership experience.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale strategies, influencing senior leaders, driving measurable business outcomes, and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Prior leadership of digital or marketing transformation initiatives involving complex client engagement and/or stakeholder management responsibilities
Exceptional program management skills, preferably in an agile environment
Deep understanding of the end-to-end digital marketing campaign process including strategy, project intake, content development, creative and compliance reviews, testing, release, and results measurement and optimization
Intimate knowledge of paid digital advertising formats (i.e., programmatic and social), development processes, and optimization methods
Experience with Adobe marketing platforms such as Journey Optimizer, Offer Decisioning, or Target preferred; significant experience with mar tech or ad tech ecosystems is required
Expert at evaluating the digital sales funnel for opportunities to improve performance through analysis of conversion and abandonment rates, benchmarking, user research, etc.
People leader with a track record of coaching a high-performing team
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Agility in thinking and delivery, along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to delegate and successfully manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget
Proficiency in Jira, Adobe Workfront, Confluence, Mural, and Office 365 solutions
MBA or equivalent markers of high achievement are a plus
Location Expectations:
This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
